1485 The Tudors established the English throne

After defeating the Yorkist King Richard III, at the Battle of Bosworth Field, Which then ended the Wars of the Roses. Henry VII Henry Tudor was the successor.

There is a Henry VII Chapel in Westminster Abbey, also known as the Lady chapel was built by this Monarch in the early 1500s. Many of the British Monarchs are buried in this church.
