The Bollock Brothers a British punk band formed by deejay and promoter Jock McDonald in 1979 are known for their extensive recording career and tours spanning over three decades with a dedicated fan base in France Belgium and Germany. Among their most critically acclaimed works is their electro version of the Sex Pistols’ famous album Never Mind The Bollocks which was released in 1983. The album replete with drum machines and synthesizers features McDonald’s cheeky delivery of the songs which are so robust that they can withstand any reinterpretation no matter how irreverent.
One of their four albums released on Charly in the early 1980s this reissue of Never Mind The Bollocks has been remastered from the original tapes and is presented on 180 gram vinyl. The album has a unique claim to fame with the appearance of Michael Fagan who famously entered HRH The Queen’s Buckingham Palace bedchamber in 1982. The reissued vinyl showcases the Bollock Brothers’ artistic talent and their ability to create something fresh and unique while paying homage to punk rock legends. The album’s timeless appeal continues to resonate with fans of all ages and music tastes making it a must-have for any vinyl collection.
