Princess Eugenie Royal Wedding to Jack Brooksbank  12th October 2018

 

Some basic wedding facts

850 guests 30 members of the Royal Chapel.

The siblings of the couple were chosen for best man and maid of honour.

The Ceremony took place on 12th October 2018 11 am St Georges Chapel Windsor castle upon the wishes of the Queen.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was playing, the choir, and also Andrea Bocelli sang.

The Wedding Dress of Princess Eugenie :

by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. Noted for their fabric designed which incorporated special symbols in the design that were important to the couple. Open boat neck, low back line, full skirt from a fitted bodice. White gown.

Shoes were by the designer Charlotte Olympia they looked white satin peep-toe heels.

Tiara:

Emerald jewels, and matching earrings that were a gift from Jack.

Greville Emerald Tiara

Also known as Kokoshnik Tiara or Boucheron Tiara

Dame Greville left this to the Queen Mother. It has been lent by the Queen as Something Borrowed.

DameMargaret Greville’s Tiara was made in 1921 by Boucheron. The Central emerald is 93.70 carats. Rose cut diamonds pavé set in platinum 6 emeralds either side of the central one.

Florist Rob Van Helden

Roses, berries, hydrangeas, dahlias, seasonal autumnal colours. The Bouquet featured Lily of the Valley, Myrtle, baby blue thistle, stephanotis. Jack the Groom corsage looked like a dark thistle head and cream white rose with gyp. Best man was the same but with a closed cream white rose no gyp.

Other background  information about the couple

Princess Eugenie is 9th in line to the throne. She graduated from  Newcastle University studying  English and history of art. The Princess is now the director at the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in London.

Jack Brooksbank, met the Princess whilst they were on a skiing holiday in Switzerland. They have been dating around 7 years.

What does Jack do?

Jack went into the Hospitality industry. He is associated as being the former manager to a Social venue in Mayfair Mahiki, where the Princess and other high profile people have attended. He is now a manager of a European brand Casamigos Tequila.

Some of Jacks Qualities

Glowing reports from a lot of people seem to be saying the same things. His Old headmaster was on ITV’s “This Morning” mentioning he was noted for being a really kind gent. Helping younger people settle in. Volunteered for everything and was given head posts for various roles. Outstanding sportsperson. “Useful at a dance invaluable at a shipwreck”. Princess Eugenie at the interview the couple gave to This Morning’s hosts Eamonn and Ruth also said Jack is the type of person who would scoop up a lonely person at a party and make them feel welcome and special. Humble and generous and an immediate friend.

Princess Eugenie’s Qualities

Her work with charities. Her efforts to raise awareness about scoliosis. The Groom told This morning she is a “Bright Shining light”.
